I went with assassin bars simply because they have more adjustable when compared with caltracs. I know caltracs you have to drop the leaf springs and press in a new bushing that mounts with them. Assassin require minimal cutting and drilling a hole in the leaf (which the drill bit is included in the package). But they generally all do the same thing. Some people like ones and others like another. But personal preference pretty much. I don't know much about the bars Vic makes but from the looks they look like assassin bars to me pretty much.

I run the VA Specialties bars from Vic on mine. Ive pulled a 1.47 60' at 4700lbs on 275-60-15 drag radials when i had the big block with nitrous. They seem to work very well.

Caltracs are proven
Assaian bars not so many run them
Vic bars are a copy of others...what ive saw of them is welds arent the nicest or best penetration but ppl who dont weld dont notice this

Assassin bars and caltracs are pretty much in the same ballpark as far as price

caltrac and assassins have different mechanisms

caltracs are long proven and they mount/look cleaner to me, which is why I went with them

It set's against the bottom of the spring eye to put the tension against it. It's a bit different but, it works.
