Anybody using a valve cover "Breather"?

Found this, they are pricey. Wish I knew how the inside looked as far as any different chambers if any.
I would like to make something that held the oil and could dump it back to the engine when you opened a valve by means of a electronic control valve or even a manual control to be used when the engine is off.

Hard to see where a can would mount. Pretty close quarters on the drivers side and I dammed sure don't want more hoses..... what with the intercooler etc. I guess though that mounting it under/around the fender brace on the passenger side would not be too bad.

Been waiting to make my catch can for a couple of weeks til I saw how much crud the rigged up can I made would catch.
After about a week and a half to two weeks I opened it up (took off the duct tape
) and found about a spray can cap full of nasty milky, oily crud in there. The small crankcase vent filter was just sitting in the crap soaked in nastiness. 
Looks like whatever can I fab up it will have to be of two cup size or I will have to be draining it every week.
I was going to make a can to catch the oil, then go through a moisture seperator and finally vent to some type of breather filter to keep anything from flowing back in and crawling in there(bugs)
You guys think this is overkill or does it sound like a good plan.

An added benefit is that by capping the vacumm lie into the intake it drives better and leaves more vacumm for the accessories which is nice with a cam that doesnt create alot of vacumm.
