Hummer RADIX versus Silverado/Sierra/Suburban Kit
I know someone who wants to sell the RADIX Magnacharger off a 2003 Hummer. I have a 2000 GMC Yukon XL with an LQ4 and I'm interested in buying the RADIX. Does anyone know the fundamental differences between the two Kits? The Magnuson P/N for my truck is 01-12-60-001 where as the P/N for the Hummer is 01-12-60-013.
Thanks,

I looked into buying a used unit at one time also. Called tech support at Magnuson and they told me everything I would need. Total cost turned out to be close to a new kit but with no warranty.
You can compare the install instructions/parts lists for the 2 kits here:

I believe the only difference is going to be in the intake tube configuration. Thats an insignificant component. I'm not even using mine. As far as I know, the compressor and accessory bracketry are identical between those models. There is physically no difference between the H2s 6L and your 6L, just the air filter box on the H2 is located further back than your Yukon.
Oh yeah, I bought a used Radix. I bought new gaskets for it and a few misc parts it was missing. I came out way under the price of a new one. It just all depends on whet kind of deal you are getting on the used one.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I believe that the two will be pretty compatible from your responses and the research that I have done.
All of the gaskets will need to be replaced as mentioned by blownchevy. My truck has a return line from the fuel pressure regulator where the later model trucks and the 2004/5 Hummer have a single line like the cars. I will need to buy an in-line fuel pump and a different induction tube to the throttle body. The flash of the PCM will be different, but that's no biggie as I can make it whatever I want with EFILive and FlashScan.
The biggest difference that I have found is that the heat exchanger mounted in front of the air conditioner condenser is a different size and shape for the H2 and is of a smaller capacity.
All my best to you good folks,
Steve

I forgot about that. You will need a new H/E too!
