Default New Trucks have widebands standard??

Just like the title says, I've heard rumblings the new trucks have widebands instead of narrowbands these days. Can anyone confirm this, I'm curious.

I kinda wonder why they havent gone that route honestly...I can find replacement wideband sensors cheaper then stock narrowbands & I know some VW's use widebands in stock applications.
