Is it a direct replacement? What is the weight difference between the Griffin and a stock one?

No its not direct, its universal. But it wasn't very hard to install. The brackets on it bolt to the stock holes on the radiator support and i just zip tied the bottom so that it was secure. The inlet and outlet are bigger than stock but with some lube i was able to make them fit. Other than that you just need to tee the coolant crossover hose into the overflow tank hose.
