Default well...it's time to move forward...

and hopefully...alot faster as well!
I REALLY wanted a 12.xx pass out of this 218k mile stock motor...and I think I would get it with good air and the 26" slicks I got two days before my tranny lost 3-4...
but...I hope to be pulling the tranny tomorrow night and handing it off to my friend's tranny shop and I figure with my luck, if I put it back in and go for the 12.xx...the motor will go...
so...while the tranny is in the shop, we'll be pulling the motor and swapping tins and accessories over to my new forged motor...
some details are in my sig...
the rotating assembly and heads that I have are shown in this build write-up:

http://exoticperformanceplus.com/projectCar.php?car=27

Mike ran this set-up with a D1 and I will be putting my P1SC on the new motor as well...
maybe a smaller pulley that I've been holding on to...
new Patrick G spec'd cam...longtubes replacing the Gibson's...
new custom y-pipe and exhaust...

machine work and short block assembly was done by Matt Bishop @ Bishop Automotive Machine Shop in Mableton, GA. Matt does all of the machine work for a local engine builder/tuner that is pretty well known around the Ford drag racing world...Al Moody...Al Moody Engines.
Matt is a great guy...if you need any machine work done near Atlanta, give him a shout.

That looks like a good set-up REX is finishing my forged 370, and I have set of Patriot Stage II heads, ed curtis cam, and FAST Intake that we are slapping my P-1SC on and letting rock. Good luck....

May be I can hit you up at Reynolds, when I ever I get my piece put back together. Just got to stay away from looking at them Trick turbo kits...

Thanks and good luck with yours as well!
Is Rex in Albany?
I knew a guy in Albany years ago that was pretty well known for building motors...

tranny is out and will be on the way to the tranny shop first thing in the morning...
motor is close to being out as well...just about everything is removed from it...
still need to remove crank pulley, maybe headers & possibly fans...then its on to the engine stand for parts removal and cleaning...

Many thanks to Jerry (cablebandit) for all of the help!

thorough inspection and rebuild on it tomorrow...

motor is out and on stand...parts to be re-used are removed and ready for cleaning tomorrow...

all in all...a good two days...
many thanks again to Jerry (cablebandit)!
especially for stopping by the store and picking up the rental puller...
