I went ahead and ordered my new converter today. Just the same unit so I don't expect any differences at the track and I'll not be locking this one WOT either

I will be sending the old one back for a rebuild and I will sell it "new" for $600 (?) offered here to my Western state friends first! New SC2800 converters are $945+40 shipping so $600 seems fair, no?

Either way Spoolin' is still slow!

 

I'm pretty sure I will *actually* be able to come to this one. Plus, I have an uncle who lives in San Fran that I've been wanting to visit for awhile, so I can make a roadtrip out of it and kill two birds with one stone
