the AVIC comes with the wiring harness for the door chime as well? Curious if thats for the BOSE setup or not?

Yes it also has the door chime converter, I think that it doesn't depend on BOSE since all the 03-up have the door chime through the speakers.

but the BOSE setup requires a special harness to power the amplifier. Does your truck have BOSE/ONSTAR?

 

Yes it came with bose/onstar, but I didn't need to power the bose amplifier since I bypassed the bose speakers and amps.

how do you like those MSD coils? can you really tell a difference with them on your truck?
