Carnage Pics... 4L60E 13V Rotor Goes POW!!!
Not really that bad. But, for those who have not seen a 13-vane rotor break, here ya go!
Fortunately, I have a spare pump that is a perfect match!
Still speculating on why it took a dump. Pressure could be one suspect, but there's too many possibilities to lean on one just yet.

Make sure that the length of those two stators are the same. This is the steel part in the rear section of the pump if you do not know. There are two different ones depending on which input shaft you are running. The pumps look like a match just make sure to check the stator length.

I'll be sure to confirm that. If not, then I'll be tearing apart the busted one for close inspection & thorough air cleaning. I'll be taking my time with this one. Dunno how this went South, but a minute piece of metal could've gotten lodged somewhere from previous trans failures. There's a local trans shop that may be able to help with a TC flush. I'll call to check. Would be nice to find a great wad of dinero lying around... Then, I could have yet another FLT part added to the trans.

OUCH!! It seems like the last year has been plagued with trans issues, that's a damn shame seeing as your truck would be an awesome daily driver. I'd like to see you get the truck back up and runnin 12's before the next summer for your own sake

Anyhow, the rotors aren't expensive at all. One can find a new 13-vane kit for less than $100 (shipped). OR one can op for a sponsor's (FLT) complete 13-vane performance pump at additional cost.
