Default 1500 HD VS 2500 HD gears

These trucks have different size Diffs even though both are 8 lug right?

Who makes good gears for 1500 hd rear ends?

i was wanting to change to 4.56's or 4.63's...

The 1500HD is an AAM 950 240mm SF 14 bolt according to my records with gear sets available to 4.88.

1500HD SF= Semi floating (light duty car type assembly just larger scale) 2500HD FF=full floating (tractor trailer type diff setup just scaled down for this setup)

For the 1500hd you need 9.25 ifs for the front. The rear is 9.50. I wasn't going to change gears and keep my 35" tire, 4.10 gear combo. Last couple of days i've been researching 4.88's. So far Motive and Yukons are on my list. Motives, from what i've found are around $150 less. They both make 4.56, 4.88, and Yukon has 5.13+.
