2007 LMM Sierra HD - Cognito Leveling Kit and 22s installed!
Current modifications -
Cognito Leveling kit - torsion bars are cranked all the way. Height to the fenders in the front is 42.25" and 44.25" in the rear
Bilstein shocks
1.5" blocks in the rear
6000k HIDs in the high and low beams
Line-X with Extra spray in bedliner
AMP Powered Steps with LED lighting
22.9.5 Weld Evo Velocity 8 wheels wrapped with 305/45/22 Nitto 404 tires. This package is usually used on my 2005 Sierra HD. I test fit them on this truck for now. They will probably be replaced with another set of Weld wheels. The tires measure 32" tall. I'm going to try to fit 33s or 34s when they are replaced.
Next to be installed is the new Pioneer AVIC Z2, Vizualogic back-up camera and Vizualogic headrests with 9" screens. The passenger's side will have a built in DVD player. I'm always waiting for performance parts to become available. Want more power!!!
I was thinking about going with a lift but I'm very happy with how the truck looks and the tires are tucked in really nice!

I'm looking into 285/50 and 285/55 tires today. They are 33 and 34". The 33s should fit fine. 34s might require a little trimming.
The economy has been good. Just wish fuel prices would stop going up.

I wanted to go with a lift but that's the main thing that held me back. I didn't want the tires to stick outside the wheelwells. I like them tucked in under the truck.

I didn't realize that the low beams are the DRLs until after the install. I'm going to see if I can turn them off (not sure if there will be a problem running HIDs for DRLs). I also want to have the fog lights come on with the regular lighting so I don't have to push the button.
Thanks Tig! Westport is the town over from Fall River.
I found that there aren't many tire options available for 22" wheels. The Terra Grapplers are the only "truck tires" that I found in 33 and 34" sizes. Or, there is the Nitto 420S. They are light truck tires like the Nitto 404s that are on the truck now. The tallest size is the same that I'm running. Specs for the two is -
285/55/22 Terra Grapplers 34.37" Max load rating 3525 lbs @ 80psi
305/45/22 420S 32.60" Max load rating - 2910 lbs @ 50psi
I like the smooth street look of the tires pictured or that the 420S would provide. The Terras would be better for added weight. Hum...
