Default 2012 duramax fuel economy

Hi guys I am thinking about getting a 2012 duramax and was wondering you guys are getting for gas mileage is it roughly the same for pulling and around town.

Also are there any people out there getting more than 20 mpg and if so what have they done to modify the vehicle.

Thanks guys I have been out of the game for a little while and just trying to get filled in.

What about programming it. I believe you can't flash these things with EFI OR HP tuners. But are there options to increase mileage? I have not been keeping up win hints so I don't know what's out there.

EfiLive doesnt touch the 2012s yet. By the sound of it they will, but it will be crazy expensive.

EFI is not available for LMLs yet. While its the best PPE is still an option until then. 16 -18 here loaded with no towing but I cant keep my foot out of it.
