2013 LML Performance Options and Tuning
I have just bought a 2013 duramax and the dealer said I can change my exhaust do a cold air intake and put a tune on without voiding my warranty! I've been attempting some research and found that since the EPA crack down there isn't as much offered. So just looking to get some input from anyone with experience with tuning. What would be a good way to go. I was always told efi live for d max but I have no clue what there power and mpg gains are? Any input from any tuning company will help thanks.

Yeah, bullshit....
H&S, if you can find it.
EFILive does not support tuning of the LML, only flashing.
Kory Willis @ Power Performance Enterprises is messing around with the LML's quite a bit... look him up

Id get that in writing too! My Fiances brother bought a 2013 Dodge Cummings they told him that he could do tune, exhaust, and run 18 wheeler rims ( ford wouldn't let him run the wheels) anyways his transmission went out and now he has to put every part back stock and then they still may not warranty the truck!

duramaxtuner just released a spade tuner for a non delete truck..looks pretty badass and they are seeing great results on them..
and ya, I hear that Kory has some **** coming out in the VERY near future so i would be on the look out for that..
You can get a full delete exhaust and a Minimaxx on ebay for like $1700 if thats the route you wanna take..gotta pay to play

Of course they told you that if you spent 55+thousand dollars with them they'll tell you whatever you want to hear once you sign on the dotted line.
Then when it's back in the shop with a nuked piston or injector and they send the calibration files to gm and get them checked they goin to tell you sorry no warranty should have left it alone.

Good luck getting GM to warrant a completely stock truck...... let alone a modded one. Morons up here void warranties based off the fact you use the truck as a "truck" and have tools in the bed..... Apparently even pulling a legal for the truck trailer is classified as "abuse".
If you are worried about warranty leave the thing stock, never pull and never use the bed. You might get warranty.

DPF back exhaust will do exactly nothing for you. If you remove the DPF, that will void the warranty, and if you do a tune, that will void it as well. CAI won't add any power either. Basically if you want any extra power you have to mod it in a way that will void the warranty. You can do a CAI and DPF back exhaust if you want but they are 100% a waste of money.

IIRC they have a way to detect that as well. I believe the TCM or one of the other modules stores max torque created, and if they read that and see that max torque is above the limits in the stock ECM they will deny/void the warranty.
