42lb 8.1L Marine Injectors
I received my injectors yesterday and got them installed. Flashed what I thought was going to be the correct injector data and started it up.
Motor runs 18 afr at idle (800 rpm) until fuel trims get to about 15% or so.
If I speed the motor up to about 1200 to 1400 rpm the injectors seem to run better and stop adding fuel, no negative trims but at least not adding fuel.
I have (2) sets of data for these injectors pulled from the internet.
One set from a post by Busta9876 and another set from a HPT repository file on a Whippled 6.0. Neither set worked very well.
Researching late last night I found where some folks are just running the stock injector data and changing the flow rate. I currently have it flashed with stock injector data, and a 41.67 flow rate.
I did not get to adjust the tune to much last night. I don't think the neighbors appreciate the sound of the engine as much as I do.
Hoping to work on it this afternoon.
Where should I start with the tuning?
I think I need to get it closer to Stoich before trying to re-tune MAF and VE.
And I don't want to retune these items if I need to adjust injector parameters first.
