Default 4L80e looser than stock converter? from GM?

Is there a looser than stock converter from the dealer like the I-6 converters that are for the 60ePVC transmissions?

Did the vans with the 4.8s come with one?

Mine came out of an 07 express van with a 4.8. It is definitely more loose. I can break stall it to around 2,500 rpm. I'll check it for sure this weekend at the track. I'm pulling it Monday to put a Yank in.

What engine and whats done to it? My buds 02 1500hd 6.0l with a TR224 cam, headers and e85 could brake stall his stock 4l80 converter to 2600.

I tested it again today and was able to get over 2500.

I have a 5.3, long tubes and a Vortech Twin Screw. I did the HD2 Transgo as well.

Some of the early G body vans had 4.3/4l80's.
