Default 8.1 performance upgrades without major effort

I have a 2004 Suburban which is stock except for a programmer change. Is there anything else which is relatively simple that can be done to enhance the performance? Where's the next best bang for the buck?
I want to avoid a major tear down.
Thanks!

Get a dyno / custom tune like blackbear or similar....that will help a lot. After that it gets expensive to make big improvements. Forced induction / Turbo, CAI, Headers, are a few routes you can take.

hell man i dont know.. bone stock my junk with 110K miles ran a 17.6 @ 75. I did a Headers, cat back exhaust, electric fans, cold air box and it slowed down.

My problem is my tune i guess. Which i hope to have all the torque crap removed in the next few months.
