Sounds good man, lots of good videos.. I see your blower is noisy at a cold idle as well. Exhaust has a nice tone to it, not stupid loud but aggresive sounding. I need to get some drive by clips of mine too. Once the weather breaks and I get the truck back out.

Yeah, she is a little "squeeky" and "Chirpy" on a cold start-up. But it smooths out when it comes up to temp.

I agree with 03sierraslt's assesment. I had to dig out my headphones to be able to hear the in-cab videos. It sounds like the exhaust disappears at cruise. The launch video was excellent. The combination of blower and exhaust sound, along with the way the camera dropped the sound so quick, made it seem like an alcohol dragster. He gone!

NICE! These clips should be the benchmark for what an exhaust thread should have!
A Mark-VII with a Whipple really moves out. I'm missing boost. Looks like it shifts at just 4500. That's about what the 454 shifted at with stock programming too. I wish I had an Allison, that looks like it has the perfect ratio for every condition.

Yeah, it definately gets out of its own way for such a big truck. The Ally is definately a tough tranny for sure. Whether I am camping in the mountains or running at the track, it seems to always be right where i want it to be.

Nah, Im going for some fuel upgrades (60's and a pump). If I go with much more I am going to find myself staring at the Suncoast web page...and that baby is expensive!

If GM didn't change pumps. Then the stocker should be good to at least 550whp. (that what I made with the stock one) 8.1l pump are bigger than the 6.0l used.
I used a Suncoast stage III trans with a custom built 2800rpm stall. Nice thing is us 8.1 guys don't have to go crazy with trans mods.

Are you shitting me? The 8.1L pump is different than the small block pumps??? I did not know that. Do you have any links or info about this? Do you have part #'s and or flow specs on the 8.1L pump vs the small block pumps? Man, this would be sweet news if all i had to do was swap the injectors. What size injectors was your stock 8.1L pump supporting? 60's? 76's?
