you are in the 8 lug forum asking about 6 lug brakes?

the first one states that they are for a 1500hd heavy duty models only which is an 8 lug and the second one states 8 lug vehicles only

drilled/slotted rotors on stock sized rotors is a bad idea. your loosing surface area. with a larger brake kit, drilled/slotted rotors work well.

i got the cheapo drilled rotors off ebay they seemed to work fine.

drilled and slotteds work fine. They stop better due to degassing and reduce stopping distance they are worth it if you dont have the 3g per set and tires and wheels for wilwood big brakes

Modern brakes on consumer vehicles do not degas. Period. 10-15 years ago, sure, alot did. All drilling and slotting does is remove important iron that helps dissipate heat to help brake better. Quality pads with quality blank rotors (no holes or slots) is the best solution for a modern day car and truck. I've always stuck with OEM for a good balance of low noise, low dust and decent stopping power.

Yup my bad i saw 1500 and not the HD and the pic didnt help either with 5 lug
