Duramax custom tuning software is now a reality!
Available for beta testers and people that fit the beta testing needs can now test out Efilives new Duramax software package. I have the packages in stock and ready to ship. they are $699 shipped to your door if you go thru me. What is it you ask? Well, it is the answer to every duramax owners needs!
No more tuning boxes, no more one size fits all chips or pass thru devices. Change things the way they should be.
More info can be found here, http://www.efilive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2419
If you fit the list of things needed to be a beta tester then wooo hooo!! I can give you a couple starter tunes to get you started with the fun and all you need to do is email betadiesel@efilive.com and tell them about yourself. I have been using the software and it is just simply awsome. The trucks respond so well and it is very easy to make big numbers. 574-267-3630 if you have any questions. Thanks Jes

I have a question about the product distribution when released.
Will we be able to get a flashscan cable with two licenses, one for my F-body and one for my Duramax ? Because that would be the Shiznit !

Any idea if the will be offering a program for the new LBZ motors? or the 04.5-early06 LLYs? I am planning on getting a duramax soon, and this program is something I would love to have with it, but I was really looking at the new LBZs. Just curious. Thanks!

It is the third generation Duramax engine. The LB7 was the first gen, LLY was the second and LBZ is the current engine.
The LB7 is horsepower king right now and has the most tuning options. The LLY has all new programming from the LB7 so it is lagging a bit behind in horsepower but it is closing fast. The LBZ has the highest stock HP but it again has all new electronics and programming so there is zilch available for it yet.
The LB7 has shown the ability to hold 800HP on the stock internals. The LBZ has addressed the "weak" internal areas on the LB7/LLY engines and looks to be a badass once the programming gets figured out.
