My buddies 4wd 1500 LQ4 6.0 with twin turbos was like 5200 with him in it. Was heavy, but made 930hp lol

Made a first pass up in ABQ, NM over the weekend...

Track is tough... it was 5500' plus weather, pretty humid and that made the DA 9200'...

awesome build... I would love another single cab duramax. so I have to ask, this is a noob question about the glow plug deletes... I thought they were needed to combust? or do they only serve to heat up the diesel on startup?

They are needed for cold starts in cold climates.

Yep ^^ I live in AZ, so I don't need any cold climate aids. I mainly removed the glow plugs due to them having the possibility of breaking off at high horse engines with high EGT's. plus the little drop in compression also helps.

So far it has started as low as 55* outside without issue.

Great build and nice truck. I wish it wasnt so cold here my buddy bobo's truck is set up like yours and that thing sounds like its gonna jump out from under the hood when you start it below 30 degrees...
