Default EGR delete mod ??'s
Asking for a friend, He has a '04 LLY Duramax. It makes the engine bay less cluttered but did anyone accually gain any power or fuel economy increase in the EGR delete mod?

I unplugged mine. No gain in power or mpg. Turbo definitely spools faster and is louder. Hope this helps.

Add a blocker plate, no need to remove. If you just unplug it, some stuff will still blow by due to the pressure. Its best to block it, otherwise nasty gunk gets in your motor!
