elec fans
are they worth it to put on ? better or worse for towing? i know it may give a tad mor hp or mpg but will it cool as well as the clutch fan for heavy hauling.
which fans are what are the best ones for the swap and would just a set of ls1 fans work? i have a set here im not using.

Yes they are a great investment. Many guys go with Taurus fans and don't have any issues. They will free up a few HP and that means slightly better fuel ecconemy.
I think I have seen guys use LS1 fans but I am not 100% sure.

I love the trick e-fan setup that I've had installed for a week. I got 18+ MPG on my last trip to Omaha... I've NEVER gotten 18MPG on winter gas... I don't think I've ever gotten 17 on it actually.
That being said... I haven't towed with them, although I will later this summer, I don't know if I'd call it "heavy towing" though, but Rick @ TrickPerformance has SPAL high performance fans he can use on his kit, which if I understand correctly, could cool a torch.

I think it is the 90s Taurus fans but you will have to confirm.

I have FF dynamic twin heavy duty fans
I have towed my car hauler with an 85 K5 mud truck with no issues over heating
I will see how good they really are when I tow my new 36' 2 car trailer back to Fort Campbell with an 85 camaro and a 2010 camaro.
