My lifted 1970 K20 is 8 LUG and runs 11.50's with a NA iron headed big block, the truck has lower 11's in it I have just allways got fucked by something every time I try to run at low elevation.
There is a guy on here with a mid 90's EX cab, LB 2500, or 3500 with a 502 on N20 that runs 11.0's or high 10's. I think his name is BIG RED or something like that.

My truck may be in the running in a year or two. My truck is a 1989 K-1500 RCSB. The thing is it has a cut down 1994 K-3500 RCLB frame. The drive-train consists of a 1998 Vortec 454, 1998 4L80-E, 1989 NP-241, 14-Bolt FF and 9.25 IFS front end. I want it to look stock-ish and beat up, it was originally a work truck and that's the look I'm going for.

I'm building my truck in basically two stages. The first stage is just basically getting it running. Stage two is the power-up build........ I've already been talking to KBRacing about building me a twin turbo kit for it!

Good link stock48 and a very cool build silverado. Thats goig to be a hell of a sleeper.
So far it looks like it will take mid to low 10s for the title. Im asking around on a few other forums as well.

Its a 6.0 with milled trick flow 225 heads, 227/235 comp grind, FAST 90/90, LTs, full exhaust and of course, the almighty 150 shot. Got my weight under 5000 as well.
Im really asking more out of curiosity than me thinking my truck is a huge accomplishment, although I am proud of her. If you put in enough caveats (chevy only, 8 lug only, no diesels, nbs only, etc) we would all be the fastest in some catagory.

I've heard of faster but have seen no proof so I caulk it up to useless bragging in my opinion. I would say it would be a safe claim til somebody proves you wrong. even the 8.1s I've seen atrn't faster then 12's normally

Im not going to make the claim until I hit 10s. Which is good as it gives me something to shot for. That link to Big Red's thread has him high 10s. Thats the fastest Ive heard of for a gas powered 8 lug.
Thinking a forged 408 or LSX block with a 450 shot will do it
