Default fmic install questions

have any of you done a fmic install..

I know whippled used the duramax one and it didnt work well with the whipple, and i saw tierods photo of his.

I was just wondering what all ill need to move and what parts i need to stock pile before the install starts... its looks like the bar that hold the trans cooler will have to be removed or modified... and the trans cooler moved but that doesnt look to be that hard of a job.

03' and up have more room behind the grill. I did relocate the trans cooler and an reroute eliminated most of the piping.

ah...

Well im going to try to cut the bar and see if it will fit.. i think ill leave the part that attaches the hood latch opening thing, and cut the rest out.. then try to stick it in there.. ill have to move the trans cooler for sure..

I think i bought the wrong size fmic.. its 31 X 12 X 3 which is freaking huge when trying to fit it behind the grill of a sububran.. I also think im going to have to run a body lift to the piping in.. there not a lot of room to work with the damn motor in the way lol..
