That doesn't sound too bad from what I'm reading on other diesel forums. I've got a '06 ecsb 4x4 LBZ and I've got just under 300mi and on the tank the dealer gave me it got about 14.6 combined city/highway. I hope it gets better as it breaks in.

I'm looking at getting an 05 w/ 40,000 miles, 6 inch lift and small 285 series tires and the digital read out is only 9.6 MPG...is that close to being right? Could I get around 15 MPG if I installed an Edge w/Attitude?

More numbers for people. I was towing my 26' camper with my golf cart in the back of the truck. I figure total extra weight might be around 7000lbs. I got 12.13 mpg with the a/c on the whole time this past Memorial Day weekend. Truck is still bone stock.

Mileage
I just did an EFIlive tune for a customer with a 4x4 LB7 crewcab. He was only getting 17 empty and 11 pulling a 30ft trailer. After I programed it his empty mileage went to 24 mpg. I will know next week what his pulling mpg is when he comes back with the trailer. He can't believe the difference it made in the way the truck drives. He really didn't think it was going to be as big a difference as it is and he loved the power he now has and gets better economy. Pogramming is the only way to go.
