Looking for semi quiet LBZ exhaust sytem....
My brother has a 2006 extended cab lbz 2500. We want to install an exhaust system on it that's not too loud, but gets the job done performance wise and lowers egt's. What systems are you guys running, and how loud are they? Also....... removing the cat, what advantage's and disadvantage's are there? Should we be looking at turbo back or catback system's? all info appreciated!! thanks

MBRP makes a good performance system. It has a nice tone out side the truck but keeps the interior pretty quiet. Removing the cat will really net you no gains unless your pushing big HP. You will lose low rpm power and torque by removing it..

I put a 5'' MBRP turbo back exhaust on mine and LOVE IT!! can definitley hear the turbo now and when you get on it she GROWLS!! But normal driving you cant really hear it in the cab, perfect balance for driving and performance. If you want quiet just get a 4'' MBRP cat back ,it will sound just like stock even with a muffler delete, The CAT delete is the key to the louder sound and also helps lower EGT's Im Told.
