Lowering a 2500 hd.
Anyone done a 2/4 drop on there 6.0 hd 2wd. Mine is a 99 2500hd 2wd. The back sticks up higher than a 4x4. Who makes or has lowering kits for these trucks?

All the big companies do.
2 inch up front can be done by simply taking the bolt out of your torsion bars. Rides like stock and about 2"s lower.
The rear you can do hangers and shackles. I would reccomend a flip kit but that is around 6 inches. Therefore you would need to get some drop spindals up front.

You can buy shackles at Autozone for $30 it they still sell them. A few on here have bought them without issue.
The way my truck is in my sign I think I had the torsion bars sitting on welded perches on the bottom of the crossmember. Very easy to do if you have a welder. And just a little trimming of the factory bump stop was needed and it rode great.
The rear the hangers were moved up 2.5" and had 3" drop shackles. You can buy hangers but with a little time and effort I moved my hangers up with the same result. If you move them make sure to drill and bolt them. If you buy hangers they come with bolts and use the stock holes.

Your truck is on fire. That is ridiculous. I want to try that.
