I have shimmed my rail and actually now have a PPE race valve( which is basically a plug) and im having troubles with 0087's ( Low rail pressure) Never had a problem till i shimmed my FPRV. These fuel rails are very sensitive , they run around 26,000 + psi !!!!
I highly doubt your rail pressure codes are because of shimming. You need a lift pump, filter dirty, tune, etc. run some data logs and see what's commanded and what's actual. I have always ran the plug, and lift pump and never had any trouble with rail pressure with a lift pump.

Hes no Dmax newbie, he has a lift pump, stays on top of his maintenance and has a tune from a very reputable tuner.

Yep! Cody and iboth have /had LBZ's and know quite abit about them.

Twin lift pumps, i have checked fuel psi from the pumps to the CP3, it stays around 8-10 psi, so i know i feeding the CP3 .

Logging shows commanded fuel PSI is being delivered, you can always see on my logs where the FPRV pops and the fuel is being delivered.

Always have a low mile WIX fuel filter in place. Clean air filter also.

I reallly wish there was an easy answer, I personally feel i ruined my truck after i shimmed the rail. 13.6's and falls on its face after the 1/8 mile.

Ive done the bottle test, passed.

Ive talked to a few guys , Eric merchant, Guy Tripp, and Dustin at Diesel addiction, all are stumped, but one thing we think to try is changing my fuel rail with another stocker and unmolested FPRV.

Any advice or help is appreciated .

This is one reason ive quit racing/ putting go fast goodies on my Dmax, i was going to put a set of twins on it, but decided to build another gas truck, i just love the LSx engines to much

Finally shot some pics of the truck. It was a little early and the light was a little too bright. But here it is. Let me know what you think.

My new interior mod.

Awesome. Beautiful truck dude. The blacker the better.

I know there is a joke in there somewhere but I'm gonna leave it alone.

The megacab shortbeds are actually 6' 4". This is the same size as the shortbed on there standard crew and quad cab models. They only have two beds on the 2500/3500 trucks the 8' and 6'4".
