AP, no haven't looked at one yet. The duramax's are pretty few and far between, and when you do find them, usually a bit out of my price range or farther than I want to drive.

For some reason the un common allways happens to me..... I had an LB7 that I had to replace about everything but the injectors. And an LLY that kep sticking thermostats open and running too cool lol.
The truck was a fleet vehical from TX, and my buddy that lives down there said some companies down there use really bad fuel. The injectors that I took out were really nasty looking, compaired to others I have seen. I was thinking maybe the CP3 was failing and putting shavings through the injectors, but it runns like a raped ape and holds good rail psi.

Yeah those are quite wierd, and LLY that runs too cold
Might not be a bad idea to pull all the injectors and get em cleaned and flowed, might save some heartache and a piston later on...
I miss the hell out of my truck thats for damn sure, just have no money with going back to school full time next semester

Well it lost another injector yesterday. I ended up pulling the tank looking for water, or a bunch of crap in the fuel but was rewarded with a clean tank, with a metalic aluminum coating along the bottom. Further testing leads to a failing injection pump. This means the pump, rails, and injectors are all going to have to be replaced. This is a 7~$8000 repair if I buy everything new. Right now I just want to set this piece of **** on fire, and push it off a cliff.
