Default Need help with Duramax-SES

Trying to help a good friend. I know nothikng about Duramax Diesels

Started acting up today, bucking and knocking, running terrible. Several Codes
from what I am looking at suspect bad ground or Computer Failure. Can someone take a look at the codes.

Truck has been running fine, on occassion thows abs light then clears it self. Heated seats work off and on. 04 Duramax with 133,000 miles.. Thanks!!

There is a lot of old codes in there, clear everything and see what if anything comes back.

I attempted to clear the codes with Hptuners ..
They will not clear. Leading me more to thank something is wrong with computer...

ewww, looks like a grounding or ecm failure. is it an 04 lly or lb7? nevermind I saw a glow plug controll module code, its an lly. could be a rubbed harness, or a FICM, ECM, another module pulling down the class 2 commun. hard to say. if you were closer I would look at it for yall....for a small fee

I agree, sounds like you have a module shot somewhere pulling down the serial data line. Whenever you see that many different codes all at once it is a good indication of a bad module.

From the looks of the codes, I would say that your glow plug control module is bad or the wiring to it. U1000 in short is saying that the vehicle knows there is communication error on the serial data line but doesn't know exactly what is causing it (general error). Being that your only module code is for the Glow plug module, I would start with checking the wiring there first. Don't just assume a bad module because it could easily be the wiring as well.
