Default Need help finding parts for 2009 6.0L

I found a truck that has had an engine bay fire and im thinking of purchasing it for a daily driver. Heads and Block are probably good but I think I will have to have everyhting else. Wiring harness, sensors, acessories, etc. My question is, What is the difference in the 2009 compared to say a 2006 wiring harness? Should I try to find a totaled 2008 or 2009? I dont know. Any help wold be appreciated. Advice would be great or some leads to some people I could call and talk too.

the 2009 would have a Gen IV LS block so in order to source parts you would have to find a Gen IV wiring harness as to the differences between the III and IV i couldn't tell you other then i know the crank position sensors, throttle bodies are different for sure

It may be more than I want to commit to now. The guy is suppose to send more pictures of the engine bay. If the relay box is burnt pretty bad i may pass on the whole deal. He has a rolled 09 that he said he would sale me also. I havent looked under the hood of a truck this new. If the harness is burnt all the way to into the firewall it may be a basket case. Are the new trucks fly by wire accelerators?

If its burnt period its a basket case walk away. Been there and done that by the time you are done you will have a fortune tied up in it and questionable reliability. New trucks have to many electronics that are still powered while the vehicle is cooking and electricity being applied where it should not be will definitely take out other associated modules.
