Picked up a new daily driver today....

Thanks TieRod.
I got it home last night after 379 miles each way
First thing I did was throw on the '06 OEM foglight kit. It comes with a black front valence instead of the grey one, it looks way better than the grey. It was already factory wired for the fogs so all i had to do was switch valences and add the lights and switch.
Next step was a litle performance testing. I wasnt sure if it was because I was used to the Whipple or what, but man this thing felt like a . Mash the pedal at any RPM and it would just go, "Huh, what?" So i got to tuning it....
removed 85% of the TM
increased the entire rpm range of both octane tables about 10%
fine tuned the the 70kPa-105kPa areas
fixed the PE delay (why does the factory set it at 60 seconds?!?!)
Scaled up the ETC response
......now she is burning some rubber!!!
Absolutely incredible how much a decent tune makes! Even more noticeable when you feel he difference within 10 minutes of each other. I still have room to go in the timing tables because it has not even so much as spiked a 0.1 on the KR chart the whole time i ran it. So far I am very happy with the truck. The old lady thinks its extreme overkill to have two 2500HD trucks so I politely told her to SMD.
I will get some good pics of the two of them together tomorrow.

I like it with the topper. Raise the front up level and put some 285's on it, it will look sweet. I am partial though, because I have learned how handy toppers really are when you actually use your truck for a DD.

Sorry for bringing a thread back from the dead, but on the lower valance you put on the RCLB, is it the same color as the upper plastic part of the bumper, or is it darker? It looks like it might be darker from the pictures.
