Default quite muffler in 3"

Ok, so now the blower and cam are in the flow master 50 series isnt going work.. its way way way to loud...

So sence ive tried spinntech (its for sale if anyone wants it $100) and dynomax (its for sale as well $50) and a gibson which sounded like crap, i tossed it in the trash because the gibson company are complete jack a's...

So what im thinking now is replace the blowmaster with something else.. maybe borla or magnaflow.. then infront of it run a moroso spiral muffler or some race bullits. someting to help with the sound..

You all have any suggestions?

22" oval magnaflow sounds good and not too loud with headers, cam, and y-pipe no cats.

That or go the route I did and get a 24" turbo style muffler (reverse flow)..With setup in sig I couldn't be happier with the sound and will eventually get a e-cutout...Its quietr but you can tell it is "not stock"

i run a 36" magnaflow round muffler on my CC...its not too quiet...but quiet enough, and flows better than stock.

with the magnaflow 36" muffler

with the magnaflow 14" muffler

in cab with the 14" too loud for my taste, and thats just part throttle.

What Dynomax were you using? My 99s exhaust is completely stock other then a 3 inch Dynomax ultra flow welded and IMO its very quiet. Going down the road at 65 its hardly noticable, under accel its there but its quiet, really it sounds a lot like the stock 6.2 Denali/Escalade exhaust. Bullets are very loud, the ultra flow welded isn't loud at all. Case length is something like 22 inches IIRC.

Run a 12" Dynomax in front of a Magnaflow straight-through muffler. That's what I did and my system went from loud and annoying to perfect. Still sounds great when I open it up.
