Tires for a 2500HD
#11
I like the Dueler but problem is they melt pretty quick. Especialy if your truck is heavy. You say you have been hauling wheight for work. I would not reccomend the Dueler. They ride well and have good traction but they just don't last as long as other tires I have seen. I like the Hankook RF10.

They look good but they are a Good Year. If you are lucky they are just that good for ONE year. Good Year is the worst tire out there. I would take china scrap over Good Year. They separate after fairly short amounts of time. They don't grip for **** on wet roads especially after they have 10-15 thousand miles on them.
Do what you want but when guys come in and want GYs I do my best to steer them away to a much better tire!
If you want to spend your money wisely get just about any tire talked about in this thread before the GY.

You got 286s!?!? you have some custom molds? Just kidding thought I would give you some ****. Those tires are nice looking but I haven't seen them run so I have nothing bad to say. Good price, sound like they perform! Makes a good tire in my mind. especially in a 286 since you have a mm on every other guy out there.

But now if I'm pulling the boat, and in a heavy down pour . . . that's a different story. If it's a normal to somewhat heavy storm, I haven't had any issues with driving faster than normal with wet roads.
There's 10K on them now . . . and they still look new. I've rotated and balanced them every 5K
