Default Truck only starts when it wants to. HELP!!

UGH, here we go. My truck (02 Sierra 2500HD) started having issues with not starting a few months ago. I thought it was the battery so I bought a new one. NOPE. Alternator has been tested and is also good. The truck has an Accel DFI Thruster system on it. I was told it sounded like the ignition box was bad. Sent it back to Accel, NOPE. They sent me a new one just to be safe.

This is what happens. e.g. I got the ignition back from Accel, installed it, fired right up. Drove for 2 days, day 3, no start. Cranks fine, has fuel pressure, has voltage, won't start.

It has been doing this on and off since about June. Will go as many as 14 days with no issues but then go as many as 14 days without starting. I spoke to Accel and they said to check ALL the grounds. I'm gonna need some assistance finding the grounds. I found one from the block to the frame on the pass side, one from the front of the motor(alternator mount) to the battery (-), Battery to frame, battery to body panel. Where else?

What else could it be? I hooked up their software and cranked it over, no rpm and no crank/cam light flashed. Reads everything else though, wideband, fuel etc.

just ordered a crank position sensor for giggles. It failed once already so I figured I'd try again.

Check the ground on the back of the drivers side cylinder head for looseness/corrosion. Also have you done the ole spark plug ground/sight test, by holding a plug to the block and verify that its getting spark on cranking?

Not yet on the spark. Need an assistant. Gonna do that asap. Tried to verify the ground strap on the driver side but the blower is in the way. Can't see or get my hand back there. The strap is attatched to the firewall though.

Should there be one on the hood? I recall removing one a long time ago when I took the light off.

yes, firewall to hood, but that should be unrelated.

it really sounds like the Crank Position Sensor, I hope you figure it out.

Is this the truck in your sig? Or a different truck with a 6.0 or 8.1?

same truck. I just checked for spark. None.

Just checked all the fuses under the hood and in the kick panel inside the truck. All good.
