56 ford ratrod or 59 Edsel cruser... One or both
Donno, guess I need growing up...
So I'm gonna get rid of one or both of these cars...
First one is a 56 ford customline $3500 obo
I picked this up a year ago, bone stock and complete
I chopped it 5" and lowered it 4.5"
Dropped in a rebuilt 351w with Holley 650cfm carb, edelbrock intake
Coupled it to a ranger t5 trans via a ford racing flywheel (properly counterbalanced) ram muscle car series performance clutch and pressure plate
Dts driveshaft making the connection to the rear end.
Headmen long tube headers, two chamber mufflers and side dumps take care of the exhaust
Stainless break lines, re-popped rubber lines wheel cylinders and master cylinder, and brand new brake shoes provide enough stopping for safe street use.
15" mustang electric fan with adjustable thermostat, single wire alternator, and hei conversion distributer keeps her nice and reliable.
Also tossed a re-popped gas tank, fuel sender, stainless fuel line, fuel pump, and oil pump at her...
All told I have reciepts for over $3500 worth of new parts on her, and have only gotten to drive her about 50 miles so far without a hitch.
I have made a considerable effort to make her safe and reliable but haven't made much of a run at finishing work or adding in creature comforts. The fuel gauge works perfectly along with all the marker lights and signals, but the speedo hasnt been adapted yet and an aftermarket tach, oil pressure, and temp gauges take care of the vitles.
White wall tires and blue rims belong to the Edsel and will not be included you will instead get petunia appropriate streight rims with dryrotted tires
Next car is a 67k mile 59 Edsel ranger 4 door $5500obo
223ci inline 6 3on the tree manual trans numbers matching
Numbers matching great running car
She was re-painted once but the interior is origional and shows some age but is not too shabby by any means.
Car is 100% compleet down to the radio.
Been driving this car off and on for the last few weeks and other than vague steering car has been very agreeable.
And this is the reasion I need one or both of these gone... Life is rough with a full house!
Feel free to email cudaeh@yahoo.com
Or text any questions or offers 586-604-3093
Both cars are located in warren Mi
