For Sale: 1994 RX7 FD3S several mods!
Year: 1994
Make: Mazda
Model: RX-7
Price: $9500
Mileage: 125000
Color: Montego Blue
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): TX
Color: Beige leather
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
Engine: 13B Rotary Twin Turbo
I hate doing this but, I got this car basically to swap in an LSx motor at some point early on next year and sell the fully functional rotary to fund the project. I have only had it since the end of August and its becoming more evident to me that I will not be able to afford what I want to do with this car anytime soon since moving to a bigger house and acquiring a bigger payment. I don't consider this car junk its still worth nearly $10k. Not looking for trades. CASH talks. Certified checks only. No payment plans. Must have cash in hand for test drives.
Per the last owner, the current 13b motor has about 32k on it. I have only put about 2100 miles on the car since I got it (daily driving) and it just had a fresh oil change with dinosaur 10w30. I have nearly every maintenance paper and reciept for this car since about 1997 all the way down to replacement bolts. (There is a binder full of them)
I have a few pictures, but can upload more as requested.
Interior: 8/10 Drivers seat has a bad tear in it, but its from getting in and out of the car. The rest of it is in pretty good shape. Last owner put carbon fiber cloth over most of the dash, center console and both doors. It could use some better adhesive on the passenger side door to hold it down better. Looks pretty good though.
Exterior: 7/10 Has a few spots that could use some touch up paint. Probably nothing more than 300$ and done right. The wheels have some pitting on them and are not what I would call showroom finish, but could be easily blasted and powdercoated for a better look.
Car handles like its on a rail with a good boost pattern. Here is the mod list:

Ẽfini Touring Package
Leather
Rear defroster
Bose Acoutic Wave System in the trunk
PS
PW
PL
PB
Sunroof

Interior Modifications:
Clarion DVD touch screen headunit MP3/DVD/CD with iPod hookup and cable.

2 gauge pillar pod
Power FC Mount

Stock Sequential twin turbos
APEXi Power FC ECU
APEXi N1 exhaust
APEXi Intake
Bonez Downpipe
Optima Red Top relocated to the trunk of the car with a cutoff switch on the top of the battery.
Magnecor 10mm plugwires
NGK plugs
Megan Racing 3 row radiator
AEM UEGO Wideband (5 Wire)
Suspension/Chassis:
Rotary Performance Drag Launch kit
Tein Fully Adjustable Coil-overs on all 4 corners
Drivetrain:
Bonez Clutch and SS hydraulic line
RB Aluminum Flywheel
Also comes with a lockable weather resistant car cover, wiring diagrams binder, tuning cables for the PFC and stock headunit.
The majority of these parts were ordered from Rotary Performance in Garland, TX. Everytime I have called they pretty much answered my questions about anything rotary related. They have lots of experience with Rotary engines as well as tuning them. It runs semi-rich right now and could probably benefit from a dyno tune. Sometimes the oil pressure guage doesnt work. May be a good idea to run a mechanical one if it is something that would bother you.
All in all a very desireable car by many and also pretty rare to see. I get compliments on it pretty frequently. Everyone must think it has 1100rwhp as well because everyone wants to race.
It has a few cosmetic flaws, but the car is 16 years old and still running strong. What can you really expect?
