Well I've already got a custom tune from Wheatley and am working with him on it, but this is for a buddy of mine. He's got an '05 RCSB with the 5.3 and is just going to do the basic mods for now, intake, headers, full exhaust, posi, some of the smaller tranny mods. He's very new into trucks so I'm kind of helpin him out with mods right now so he doesn't end up with some of the stupid **** out right now. I'd say he's definately wanting some sort of performance tune but obviously doesn't want to lose all his MPG.

my last truck, '05 ECSB 5.3 216/224 .551 cam long tubes true dual exhaust 3.23 gears, did a custom os and speed density and got 21-22 mpg...put 4.10's in it and got 19mpg...made 311hp to the rear...think he'd be happy with somethin like that?

Eh, that sounds decent, lol. If he wasn't happy then I'd have some words for him.

instead of using the stock gm operating system ill use an operating system from efi live..better fuel control..and speed density the way im going to tune it is where its not using the maf or o2 sensors
