Talking 1971 swb Chev 6.0 L96 + 6L90E

I started a build thread on ls1tech and found this forum after that. I decided this is probably the place I should be!

I have a 1971 chev. swb that I am going to put a 2011 6.0 (L96) and a 6L90E into. The motor only has 19,000 miles on it, so I have no plans to tear into a perfectly good motor ( that may change once I get it put in )!

I plan on mocking up the motor and trans in another frame I have. It just seems like the smart thing to do, plus I hate removing a motor from a perfectly good truck.

I have already purchased ECE LS motor and trans mounts, Doug Thorley 324Y headers, Walbro 255 fuel pump and corvette regulator, and I am planning on sending the wiring harness to Speartech ( that could change depending on oppinions here ).

I would appreciate any input you may have!

Does anyone know if the Lokar trans cable kit will work with a 6l90 ?

Thanks guys! I am getting anxious to get started, but I have a couple of other projects to get finished up first.
As soon as I get a few more parts in, I will hopefully get started on this thing!

Thanks

John
