Default 1979 luv

I have recently purchased a 1979 chevy luv truck.. it needs a little minor body work but for 200 dollars it was a steal.. i.m converting it into a drag truck with a 383 stroker... anyway back to my question. does anyone know where i can find a front bumper for this thing thats about the only thing i need that i can't find for it all help would be greatly appreciated

the 383 i'm building is alum. headed also its 10.5:1 and the article claims the motor to have 622 hp at 7500 rpm.. now if thats true i dunno but it gives all specs and thats what i'm going by.. it should be fun as well ha

I figured that one out...

I have always wanted a LUV since I can remember, came close to getting one. I have fond memories of one when my brother slammed his head on the dash when our grandmother hit the brakes... good times.

posts some pics of the truck

they are super light, iron headed SBC Luv weighs well under 3k lbs....i believe a guy on that luvtruck site had a street driven iron headed BBC one weighing it at 2700 with driver.....

you know you should put a LSX in it

i'll try to get some pic up soon.. my work schedule has been crazy and then working on the truck puts me that much more behind.. its nothin fancy but managed to strip and gut it completly and get it back into primer to keep away rust.. waitin on rollcage to get here before i work inside the cab and some extra money for some paint
