sounds like its the 02 sensors or lack there of that is causing this to happen, when I did my engine swap, it would start and run for a minute or two until it kicked out of the cold run cycle and into the hot run cycle. I found out it was because the harness had a few crossed wires in the 02 sensor circuits which the computer uses to adjust the tune. When the sensors arent hooked up correctly, as soon it hits the hot cycle, it will dump more and more fuel until it stalls the engine.

I would say get those o2 sensors hooked up and post back with an update, there should be 4 of them, 2 before the cats and 2 after.

I hear what your saying, but wouldn't what your describing apply fuel to all injectors?

This still sounds like a pinched or shorted to ground wire on #8 inj to me. Running with your O2's off should not cause a problem like that from a cold start. It sounded like Remington H.'s O2's might have been wired wrong to start with???? Is that the case Remington H.?

If you are not running yuor 02s your truck go's into open loop and does run richer but it should dump fuel on all injectors.. It might be a tuning problem or even the pcm

the ECM gives the ground. check for continuity from the injector connection back to the ecm. if is good then the probplem may be the PCM. if it is open then you have a wiring problem.
