Default 1994 Blazer Diesel

So, I just bought a 1994 Blazer diesel for $2200. Its got 202K on it, but it started up VERY well (I was told it'd been sitting for a week), and drove just fine (I mean... it drove like a truck compared to my GTO, but, I had no complaints I wouldn't expect out of a 1994 truck.

So... Guys who know these trucks, what do I need to look out for? What free/cheap/worthy upgrades are out there for this thing?

i try to keep up with chevys' diesels but they change little things in them so much its kinda hard to keep up. i keep tryin to convince the wife to let me get a diesel suburban. she keeps shooting me down. either way i would be lookin to put a banks kit on it. only negative things i hear about these things are cold weather startups suck. usually gotta leavem on the cord. and they are incredibly slow stock. i beleive it was the magazine diesel tech that did a 6.5 build up. might take a look at that

Banks kit would be for the 6.2. My goals for this truck (basically, DD, but who can resist playing with things at least a LITTLE) don't warrant a turbo upgrade unless the current one dies. From what I've read a crossover and downpipe are the 2 major upgrades. I'll probably do an intake on it (so I can actually hear the turbo... and very little else for justification), maybe a chip upgrade from SSDiesel, put a 1-2" cowl hood on it (stock hood needs so much work its hard not to just say to hell with it and grab the upgrade, and the whole truck needs paint anyway), maybe open up the exhaust a bit, but don't want it TOO much louder.

I'm also trying to source a set of newer factory wheels with decent tires on them. The ones that came on it are hideous.

Its got a block heater (factory? not sure) so that will be used for sure.

It just got a new fuel pump, and PMD relocated to frame rail... and yes, I have.
