Next question, could you go into a little more detail about the changes made to the fuel system? I looked at the pics in your 95 swap thread, but that just made me more confused because you don't have anything close to the same parts listed in this one, and this setup would be the one I'd replicate.

Why did you use those fittings instead of this style:

Had a kid, sold it, and bought an 04 tahoe. Easiest 5.3l swap ever.

ya thats one way to do it

04 Ho should treat you pretty well, and you can still tune it for more smiles per gallon

272K on it, for $4500, so the 5.3 I have in the garage will probably go in next summer, along with the 4l60e from the swap plan. I already swapped it over to e-fans, but do need to do some good tuning after I do the swap (new motor has a 228/222 cam)

It has been a long time since I have been on the site, good to see your truck is doing good.

Back in 2011 not long after I last posted in your thread I got hurt overseas real bad, been wanting to do the swap on my 95 Z71 but now I am unable to do those types of things myself. Does anyone have a good idea what someone would charge to do a low mile motor and trans swap?? With the A/C???

First off, Thank you for your sacrifice for our Freedom! God has a special place for you men and women.

As far as your truck, you are looking at roughly $3500 for a donor as prices have gone sky high as of late. and probably again that much to have someone install it. Its all in what you want to do. Where are you located?

Old 94 is still going strong. Just had the cats removed and true duals installed with a dual in dual out 8" case 18" long Magnaflow. 2.5" pipes. Sounds really good.

Enjoy

Also Ditched the American Racing wheels and went with some K5 rallies with 07 Work Truck centers.
