Default AC bracket options for LSx swap

I've been researching this topic for a while. There is a lot of info over on LS1tech. I have found a couple others as well.

I found this on a google search. From a Corvette site.

Guys name is Josh, and here is his email. superpowers1980@yahoo.com
He makes them to order, check with him for prices.

Gives you a cheaper option for AC compressors. Most other kits require a sanden 508, and they are plenty pricey!

Please feel free to add what you have found. Maybe we can get this made a sticky.

Ain't that pretty. Something that I'll have to keep in mind.

Gentlemen, I am finally here. Thanks for making the thread Brad.

I designed this kit for my 82 Corvette, because I wanted to retain the use of my stock A/C lines. The kit has been fully tested. It has been on an engine dyno 20+ times and reved up to 7000!

The other reason I had to design the kit was because the only other kit out there to do this was complete garbage. It was made of thin steel and only mounted to 2 spots on the head and 2 on the compressor and didn't have a tensioner so it threw the belt.

After people saw my engine I got a ton of requests to make more. So I now make them to order. This kit fits almost any LSx application. I have got them in C2 and C3 corvettes, third gen f-bodies, 92 and 83 chevy pickups, 57 chevy etc..

If, you have any questions feel free to e-mail me.
Josh

I have an option for you guys. I can lower my prices a bit on these if there was a group buy. The more there are the cheaper the price. I will not disclose the price publicly because I am not a paid sponsor for this site nor any site for that matter. I make these to order and sell them at cost to make, I do not turn a profit.

Why do I even go to the trouble you ask? Because I have done lots of LSx swaps and out of my own necessity I have taken the time to design and fabricate parts and line up machinists. (over 80 hrs into this kit alone) So why not help out others. I believe that what goes around comes around, especially in this hobby.

pm me, e-mail me or call me (507-581-3076). I will help any way I can.

Josh

if you are putting a lsx into one of the 73-87 trucks, there is no need for any additional brackets. the stock a/c bracket will work (if usine a 5.3 truck style a/c bracket)
clint

IF you set your engine forward like you did. I kinda wish I had done that with mine looking back.
