im in the process of rebuilding my 454 out of my 92 Chevrolet dually. it has the stock TBI intake. I have an intake from a 89-90 suburban 454 TBi. it looks like a 4bbl intake in the top side. Is this intake any better than the one from the 92? Just curious if I could get some freebee Power.

I've seen guys use 4 barrel manifolds with adapter plates to get alot more hp out of a 454, but you need oval port heads to do it.

 

The 92 intake is better. Edelbrock's 3764 intake is basically a copy of that intake. The 3764 is an upgrade for the 88-90 TBI 454.
