Exclamation E Fans in a OBS Please Help

I would LOVE to do E-Fans in my 99 OBS!

Black Bear has a harness kit that includes a PIN to add to the PCM to make it run like OEM. Problem is Justin doesn't know where it goes! Haha

or

any other ideas? Hard wiring them to a ON and OFF toggle switch is OUT OF THE QUESTION!

usually you add a temperature sensor inline with the coolant somewhere that triggers the fans

and if you're crafty you add an override so you can shut off or manually start the fans if you need

the pcm on a 99 isn't set up to run fans from the factory although I think it may be possible to alter it to work with efi live.

Just hook install the pin into #42 and install the fans. Have the PCM tuned and I should be good?

On your GMT400--99OBS Black Box PCM connector C4 pin 9 is for cooling fan control. It can be enabled in the tune.

These harnesses are not marketed for the OBS. Were he to put a harness on a NBS, then yes, 42 and 33 would be the correct PINs.

I do believe this is correct and should have you well on your way.

THANKS JENNA!

Please have Justin Tune my PCM that I left with him for E-Fans as well as have the EGR tuned out!

I think I'm going catless too since I just scored a set of LT's. Is it possible to tune out the 02's or simutale a signal?

The BB Kit comes with one pin or two?
