Just got finished putting disc brakes on my FF 14 Bolt. Question is do I have to replace the proportioning valve? I know that the drum brakes used a lot less brake line preassure to operate ans the disc's will require more. Thanks in advance.

When I did a conversion on my FF14 and went ahead and changed the M/C (Disc/Disc for a Van), New (Disc/Disc) Prop Valve and added an additional adjustment on the rear for a post valve brake bias .. it helped fine tune the brake balance ... the rear of my truck weighs alot more than most.
With the new P/V I just wanted to eliminate the guess work on the disc/drum volume and 2/10 pressure and that was worth the $50 to me.
