Default has anyone tried these headers (need opinions)

im in the middle of my 6.0 swap in a 80 k20 pkup with a nv4500 trans. i purchased a set of f body headers and found that the drivers side fits and also clears the clutch linkage but it points toward the frame rail and the passengers side primary tube hits the frame and the leaf spring shackle. i found these headers that sould fit just looking for sum opinions. im leaning towards the mid length option but yet not sure how they will perform and sound compared to a long tube. http://http://paceperformance.com/c-366215-exhaust-headers-ls-engine-swap-headers-copy-of-1973-87-gm-truck-and-suv-2wd-ls-engine-swap-headers.html

forgot to add the brand of header i tried was a hooker super comp 00-02 f body p#2469HKR the emission tube was sticking out from the primary tube and was hitting the frame as well on the passenger side..

I have the f-body long tubes on my 78, and they had to be heated and bent to work right in the truck. As for the hedman huslter headers, thats what I'm using on my 81 they clear well and fit perfect. I've had three buddies use the same hedman headers and all have worked well for their applications.
