Hilborn Scoop, Velocity stack or other?
So, the LS1 in my 63 is getting a Super victor intake, NX plate, dominator to 4150 reducer and a dominator TB. This set up should prove to be fairly tall. I was thinking about putting either a:
Veloctiy stack that sits level with the hood (obviously a hole in the hood) so it looked like a big hole
or
A hilborn style scoop sticking through the hood.
I'm thinking the Hilborn is probably more period correct and would go well with the wrap around 63 windshield since that is a 50's sorta left over. Also think it would have more effect than a stack.
I'm open to other ideas to suit the look of the truck.

This is a tough one because I can picture both...
I think the Hilborn, or a similar one, would look great. Where would the scoop be in relation to the hood (above, bottom of the scoop level with the hood, just under the hood, half way exposed)?
