Default Identifying a motor in 67 chevy c10

Ok, I cannot ID this motor.. Under the oil filter it says "3952302" which I found out is just the oil filter part.. not a block cast # or anything..
There is also "551" on the driver side of the block, pretty big numbers..

Other than that, where can I find the block casting numbers without pulling the motor? Whats the easiest way. I can find cylinder head numbers under the valve cover, right?

There are numbers on the back of the block by the driver side cylinder head....youll prolly have to clean that area up to see the numbers.....

Looks like an 86 305 out of a malibu.

I was hoping for a 350.

..But after a few calls around I found a buddy who has an uncle with a 454 sitting in his garage.. Hmm.
